VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Brooklyn Pride cannot function as an organization without the dedication of our volunteers! There are endless opportunities to help out with Brooklyn Pride during Pride Week, as well as throughout the year.
We need assistance in the following areas:
Outreach – Are you an outgoing, social Butterfly type? We need some folks to say nice things to say about Brooklyn Pride, Inc. at happy hours, street fairs & expos and other events.
Make Stuff Happen people – Do you love logistics and solving problems on the fly? We need folks to help with things like stage management, setup for events, and general “getting it done” roles.
Writers – Have you already found five grammatical errors on this site and wince at changing tenses? We need folks who might want to do some writing (and/or) editing for our Pride Guide, newsletters, and other promotional stuff as it comes up.
Social Media – Do you live for #s and insta-everything? Do you love to snaptweet on the faceplace? Clearly we need some help here!!
Research/Database management – Would you rather see a task to completion than float around talking to everyone in the room? Do pivot tables and spreadsheets excite you? We need YOU to help us organize our data and research grants & partnership opportunities!
